Residents should prepare for chaos, authorities say

Residents of Colchester, among other thriving cities, have been told to prepare for a MAJOR storm which is expected to spawn in on Thursday.


A yellow weather warning is in place for Colchester, indicating there is an imminent risk to life.


According to a statement released by Crimestoppers, residents can expect winds of at least 3 miles per gallon.


With the storm also due to bring cold temperatures, they are also recommending that people wear clothes if they need to venture outside.


One concerned resident said: "This is really concerning to hear."


A spokesperson from the Ministry of Defence advised the public that power cuts and other loss of services are likely and will last for at least 7 years.


Experts are also warning that leaves and other debris will likely be blowing about.
